Tsapelles are a characteristic variety of figs of Messinia and one of the most popular natural culinary delights of the region with a significant presence in both the domestic and international market. They are consumed either fresh, even cut directly from the tree, or dried, after being left under the sun and dried naturally, without any chemical additives.

In addition to their beneficial properties, they can complement meals in terms of energy and flavour, either as a snack or as an ingredient in a salad or dessert (spoon sweets, jams, fig jam, fig jam).
